I finally got round to watching the film awaydays the other day,although its good to get a northern football firm (the wolf pack!!! oh dear) story on film, tho its from a novel of the same name,i was very disappointed,the story centres around the super cool one off the main lads elvis and the wannabe annoying new boy carty's relationship,its sort off like the film my beautiful laundrate but with football violence instead of bumming,mind you it looked like they whould start doing it at anytime.I just didnt understand the story what so ever,i think its a case off the scousers trying too be to clever,instead off just making it funny,we know how much the mickeys like a laff!
Fashion wise it was pretty good,tho having us mancs in donkey jackets and bovver boots was a bit off a piss take,we all know the scousers started the scally (casuals) movement,but us mancs had perry boys (casuals) at roughly the same time,it was the rest off the country that was slow off the mark in the dressing stakes.
Nick Love's version off the 80s film the firm,is out next week the orignal had a fairly good story but was let down in other ways particular how they had them dressing,mind you the cock-er-neys are always behind the door!!!
The new version (link)looks very bright,with pastel coloured FULL tracksuits worn to the match,to be honest i never saw any off the lads with FULL trackies on at matches i went to,the tops defo,but thats cock-er-neys for you,will look foreward to seeing it tho.

I love being proved wrong (yet again!!) but if you look at my post thats against us signing Adebayor from the gooners,i couldnt be more wrong,he has scored 3 goals in his first 3 prem games,his workrate has been outstanding,and he seems to be more of a team player at city than he was at the gooners.
Shay Given is proveing to be a excellent signing,4 clean sheets to start this season,his shot stopping and postioning is unreal,every one rated him at newcastle but he seems to have exceled at city,we finally got Lescott but we payed well over the odds for him,he is good but £23 million the mickeys are pissing themselves,lets see if the 2nd angriest jock (moyes,will give you a clue who is the 1st hes a red cunt,if you need any more clues emails welcome)is still gunna report us,i bet they forget once the check clears.

Are next game is against the gooners is a massive test for us to see how far we have come,i know its only still early in the season,but if we win it will be a tremendous result for us leading in to the game against the scum (man u).So far so good,things are looking up and we might get taken serious if we take 6pts from the next 2 games.

Fool"s Old!!!

Most mornings i wake up feeling old,but early this week when i found it was the 20th anniversary off the stone roses first and best album,it really hit home how old i was getting. I first got in too the roses when i heard elephant stone on the radio,also some one had gone round town spraying the bands name everywhere so that got me interested.
So i went to piccadily records and bought the 12"record complete with john squire print,i played it so many times,then i got sally cimeonn then i heard about the album and when it was coming out.
When it did and i listned to it the 1st time it blew me away,you knew it was classic and would last the test of time,even when i hear it now it sounds just as good as the first day it came out,but fuck me 20yrs man thats mad!So if anyone does finally read my blog here is a top link to get you into them and you can also go to http://www.spotify.com/en/ to listen to most off there tunes,enjoy!

Only in America!!!!

The first 48 is a program about the police in america,it follows various homicide squads as they attempt to solve cases.They reckon that the first 48hrs in a murder case is the most important(hence the name!) time to get the most chance off solving the case.I watched a episode last night that amazed me.
In Miami the case was that two men grabbed a man out off a barbers chair to take him outside,where there was someone else was waiting with a gun to take him out,but what happend was the guy who they dragged out also had a gun,and he ended up killing the one who was waiting outside and wounding one off the others.
So when it comes to who gets charged this is what happends,the two lads who grabed him out off the barbers shop get charged with MURDER off there mate and the lad who did the shooting only gets charge with having a illegal gun!!! I think that is fucking unbelivable,i dont know if any one else feels the same.The first 48 is on the crime and investigation channel (link)in the uk,but you are better off going on youtube,where there are loads off full episodes.

If someone finally looks at this blog,the one thing i would want them to do would be to check out this guy on the right.He called Eric the midget and he is a regular caller on the Howard stern radio show in the usa,stern is a legend in america and has been on the air for years,check out his film private parts to find out about him.

Now back to eric,he suffers from various illness and is in a wheelchair,he is 3ft 5" and lives in califorina.He first called the show in 2002 to defend kelly clarkson from american idol which his is favorite show.He then became a regular caller on the show.Eric wanted to become a actor,so he decided to call him self eric the actor,howard stern managed to get him a small part(sorry!!!) in a episode of a show called "American Dreams".

As he called in more regular we came to see the true Eric,he was given various things by the show like getting him in to watch American Idol shows,but didnt show any thanks or gratitude.One of his favorite contestant was Diana Degarmo,who he admitted he was in love with,the show gave him her home phone number,they then found out he was ringing it twice a day,trying to arrange a meeting with him,when the show tryed to explain to him how wrong it was what he was doing he could not understand what was wrong with it.
The show at times had tryed to get him set up with various porn stars in the early years for him to loose his cherry,but they were never the right ones.He finally did the deed at a brothel called the bunny ranch in nevada,to hear him tell the story is very funny.When the show moved to satalite radio they could swear and be more explict.Thats when Eric came in to his own with his various tirades on members off the stern show,particular stern himself. I will leave it up to you to find out about air force amy,his radio show,his screen play,flying with ballons,meeting with a top tv ex,taxi driver and the wwe,so put eric the midget in to youtube (06-09 are the best) enjoy!!!

Citys decsion too try and sign Adebayor from the gooners baffles me,he is hated by teamates and fans alike,(if only john terry was as easy to sign),he makes anelka look like MR chuckles,we now have more strikers than a picket line in the mid 80s.Although i read in this mornings papers that his advisors are trying to get him to sign for the scum (man u) if there is a god he will but i doubt it.Mark hughes will have a tough enough job keeping every one sweet as it is,what with no euro mid week matches only carling cup,tho we will probley go out to grimsby in the 3rd round.
So thats why i think its a total waste off time and money (even tho we are minted!) we should be concentarating on getting the back four sorted,kompany seems to be easily able to cope at centre half,even tho he was good in midfield last season,i think the only way to get a regular run in the team is for him to play at the back,i love richard dunne but to move to the next level,i think he will be found out,like he was last season in quite a few games.
If we do mange to sign john terry aswell then we are showing a excellent statement of intent,the money may well be obsence but its got to a point where there wages are just numbers that most normal people carnt compute,tho for me whats the difference between earning £150,000 or £250,000per week (dnt be smart and say £100,000!)if you need a new challenge,surely that is more important than a extra few quid,if you are already a multi millonare.
Ah well thats just wishfull thinking on my behalf i guess,but hey you never now!
